With a length of nearly 20 meters and a beam exceeding 5 meters, the Majesty 65 packs volumes, solutions, and finishes that belong to the world of superyachts into dimensions that remain easily manageable by the owner. We tested it in Dubai, where we didn’t just limit ourselves to exploring its interiors and spectacular outdoor spaces, but took it out to sea to verify its performance, fuel consumption, and dynamic handling.<\/span><\/p>

The glass-reinforced composite construction with vinylester resin makes for a lightweight yet rigid structure, while the propulsion of the boat featured in our test is entrusted to a pair of <\/span>Volvo Penta D13 900<\/b> engines delivering <\/span>662 kW<\/b> each. A combination that pushes the Majesty 65 up to <\/span>24 knots<\/b>, without sacrificing that sense of comfort and safety that stands as one of the most compelling aspects revealed during the test.<\/span><\/p>

However, performance is only part of the story. The Majesty 65 impresses above all with the amount of space available: from the large modular flybridge to the bow lounge, passing through the beach club with a submersible swim platform. Inside, we find a large linear galley, numerous social areas, and even a real retractable home theater.<\/span><\/p>

The lower deck houses<\/span> four staterooms<\/b>. The highlight is the full-beam master suite with a king-size bed, writing desk, walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower stall. Joining it are the bow VIP stateroom with a queen-size bed and two twin guest staterooms.<\/span><\/p>

Our test of the Majesty 65 begins from the flybridge. As mentioned, the engine installation on the tested model consists of two <\/span>Volvo Penta D13 900<\/b> engines\u2014inline six-cylinder, 12.8-liter units rated in this configuration a<\/span>t 662 kW each.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The yacht utilizes a glass-reinforced composite construction with vinylester resin, allowing it to combine weight containment with structural rigidity. A characteristic that, together with the hull geometry, immediately demonstrates its effects while underway. At <\/span>1,200 rpm<\/b>, cruising at<\/span> approximately 10 knots<\/b>, we recorded an overall fuel consumption of<\/span> 48 liters per hour<\/b>, equivalent to about 4.8 liters per nautical mile. This is a particularly interesting figure considering the size of the yacht.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Increasing power progressively, around <\/span>12 knots<\/b> the Majesty 65 overcomes the transition phase and gets onto plane without showing any particular hesitation. From this moment, acceleration becomes smooth and natural. Bringing it to <\/span>2,000 rpm<\/b>, the speed rises to about <\/span>17.5 knots<\/b>, with total fuel burn in the range of <\/span>200 liters per hour<\/b>, corresponding to just over <\/span>11 liters per mile<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Top Speed: The Majesty 65 Reaches 24 Knots<\/h2>

Pushing both throttles forward, the Majesty 65 continues to accelerate decisively: passing first 20 and then 22 knots, we reach 23 knots<\/strong> and finally, around 2,300 rpm<\/strong>, we hit a top speed of <\/strong><\/span>24 knots<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The speed figure is impressive, but during the test, it is above all the level of comfort that convinces us. Even while maintaining sustained speeds, the yacht conveys a strong sense of solidity and control<\/strong>. We verify this by bringing it to around 20 knots and starting a series of maneuvers. In turns, the Majesty 65 maintains remarkable tracking stability without sudden reactions, consistently instilling confidence in the helmsperson. Even in counter-turns, its behavior remains predictable and progressive. It is an approach consistent with the yacht’s philosophy: the Majesty 65 was not created to chase extreme performance, but to cruise fast when necessary while maintaining high levels of comfort.<\/span><\/p>

The Cockpit Can Accommodate Up to Ten People<\/h2>

Having completed the test and returned to port, we begin the tour starting from the cockpit, where the aft dinette utilizes virtually the entire beam of the yacht and revolves around a large central table. On one side is a long fixed bench seat, while on the opposite side several loose chairs can be positioned. By adding seating at the ends of the table as well, the space allows for organizing lunches and dinners for about ten people<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Furthermore, the staircase leading directly to the flybridge originates from the cockpit, making movement between the two main outdoor social areas effortless.<\/span><\/p>

The Interior of the Majesty 65: Elegance and Generous Volume<\/h2>

Steering into the salon, one immediately understands how much Gulf Craft<\/a>‘s design prioritized the perception of space. The volumes are substantial, but equal attention was devoted to the design, color pairings, and finishes. Near the entrance is a second dinette, capable of accommodating roughly between <\/span>six and eight people. On the opposite side extends a large linear galley<\/strong>, fully equipped to handle long-distance cruising and completed by a full-height refrigerator with refrigerator and freezer compartments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The layout maintains seamless continuity between the galley, dining area, and cockpit, making full use of the space during daily life onboard.<\/span><\/p>

A Salon That Transforms into a Movie Theater<\/h2>

Proceeding forward, we encounter another of the most intriguing solutions on the Majesty 65. A large L-shaped arrangement offers seating for <\/span>five or six people, while a second sofa sits on the opposite side. Hidden inside the adjacent cabinet is a large motorized TV<\/strong> that rises smoothly at the press of a button. Once raised, it transforms this portion of the salon into a true private cinema room.<\/p>

The overall feeling is that of being on a yacht larger than its 65 feet, not only due to the actual dimensions of the living areas, but also through a rational organization of the furnishings.<\/span><\/p>

Dual Helm Stations<\/h2>

At the bow of the main deck lies the lower helm. The station features two large multifunction displays<\/strong>, engine controls, throttles, and thrusters, along with the main systems needed to monitor and manage the vessel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The second station is located on the flybridge and was the one used during our sea trial. Here, too, we find two spacious displays, engine controls, and thrusters. However, the elevated position offers a clear advantage: virtually 360-degree visibility of the surrounding environment<\/strong>, which is extremely useful not only while underway but also during docking maneuvers.<\/span><\/p>

The Majesty 65 Staterooms<\/h2>

Heading down the internal staircase leads to the lower deck, where the four staterooms are concentrated. The Master stateroom occupies the entire beam of the Majesty 65 and is likely the space that best conveys the project’s superyacht inspiration. At its center lies a large <\/span>king-size bed<\/b> surrounded by wide walkways. On one side, custom millwork converts into a writing desk, while on the opposite side sit a sofa and a true walk-in closet. The private en-suite bathroom is also generously sized and equipped with a separate shower stall. For a 65-foot yacht, the amount of space dedicated to the owner is truly remarkable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The VIP stateroom<\/strong> is located at the far bow. Despite the natural reduction in volume dictated by the hull geometry, space remains abundant. The bed is queen-size and retains good passage both at the foot and along the sides. Numerous closets also allow for storing everything necessary for extended cruises. This stateroom also features a generously sized en-suite bathroom complete with a separate shower stall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The sleeping quarters are completed by two twin guest staterooms<\/strong>, positioned to port and starboard respectively. Both feature twin single beds, closets, a nightstand, and ample room to move around. This configuration allows the Majesty 65 to offer comprehensive accommodations for the owner and guests across four staterooms on the lower deck.<\/span><\/p>

An Astonishingly Spacious Flybridge<\/h2>

Ascending to the third deck brings you to one of the defining elements of the Majesty 65: the flybridge<\/strong>. The usable surface area is enormous relative to the overall dimensions of the yacht. The aft section is intentionally left open, allowing the owner to configure it according to their needs using modular furniture. This area can also be shaded by setting up sunshades supported by carbon fiber poles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Moving toward the center, there is a fully equipped wet bar<\/strong> for outdoor food preparation. An under-counter refrigerator is integrated alongside additional storage compartments. Opposite, a large table paired with an L-shaped sofa creates a true panoramic dining area. Toward the bow is a versatile sunpad area that can be used for sunbathing or reconfigured as chaise lounges to enjoy the ride. Completing the space is the main upper helm station, from which we conducted our test.<\/span><\/p>

The Foredeck Becomes a Second Outdoor Lounge<\/h2>

The Majesty 65 also makes excellent use of the bow space, converting it into an additional independent lounge dedicated to relaxation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Here, a<\/span> sunpad for<\/b> three people<\/b> faces a large C-shaped sofa that comfortably seats up to<\/span> six guests.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This area can also be protected from the sun using carbon fiber poles and removable shades\u2014a particularly practical feature considering the Majesty 65 originates in Dubai and must guarantee comfortable outdoor living even in hot climates.<\/span><\/p>

Beach Club and Submersible Swim Platform<\/h2>

The stern holds another feature typically associated with larger yachts. The beach club<\/strong> features a genuine sofa facing directly out to sea\u2014a touch far from guaranteed on a <\/span>65-foot boat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Even more interesting is the large submersible swim platform<\/strong>. In addition to simplifying access to the water, this solution significantly expands the usable surface area at anchor and facilitates water toy operations. It is one of the features that contributes most to the feeling of being aboard a small superyacht rather than a traditional flybridge of this size.<\/span><\/p>

The Majesty<\/strong> 65<\/strong> manages to combine three features that are not always easy to find at the same time on a 65-foot yacht: generous volume, high perceived quality, and good seakeeping characteristics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The living spaces are undoubtedly one of its strong suits. The full-beam master stateroom, four total cabins, massive flybridge, bow lounge, and beach club with submersible platform allow nearly every square foot of the yacht to be enjoyed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The sea trial<\/a> adds another key element. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 900 engines, we reached a top speed of 24 knots<\/strong>, while recording consistently composed, stable, and reassuring handling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Majesty 65 is therefore a well-built, well-finished flybridge capable of transferring numerous superyacht traits into a package under 20 meters.
