Nel 2013, il cantiere ha introdotto una linea di motoryacht costruiti con le stesse tecniche di costruzione (di prima classe) adottate per i suoi yacht a vela. <\/p>\n<p>Non sorprende quindi che, salendo a bordo, si rimanga colpiti dal livello di qualit\u00e0 delle finiture. Questo \u00e8 lo standard del cantiere che, inoltre, produce con un livello di personalizzazione molto elevato, realizzando yacht che sono effettivamente costruiti intorno alle esigenze dei loro proprietari. <\/p>\n<p>In altre parole, stiamo parlando di imbarcazioni uniche, finemente cesellate e realizzate con attenzione ai minimi dettagli, come il Contest 52MC Flybrige a bordo del quale stiamo per salire oggi.<\/p>\n<h3>Prova in mare del Contest 52MC Flybridge<\/h3>\n<p>Siamo a Medemblik,  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-8679\" title=\"Contest 52MC\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC\" width=\"420\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a>Olanda, sede dello storico cantiere navale. La giornata \u00e8 fredda ma soleggiata, il che rappresenta condizioni eccezionali per un luogo solitamente caratterizzato da un clima molto pi\u00f9 rigido. <\/p>\n<p>Salgo a bordo con Marcel Offereins, il responsabile commerciale del cantiere; avviamo i due motori Cummins 6.7 L da 550 CV che il proprietario ha scelto per il suo Contest 52MC. Ritiriamo gli ormeggi e lasciamo i delfini che delimitano il nostro posto barca. <\/p>\n<p>Governamo molto facilmente, lo yacht \u00e8 dotato di un joystick e si muove senza difficolt\u00e0. Marcel chiama la stazione di chiusa per informarli del nostro arrivo; il meccanismo ci porter\u00e0 al livello dell&#8217;<strong>IJsselmeer<\/strong>, l&#8217;enorme lago artificiale creato nel 1932 con la costruzione della diga settentrionale (Afsluitdijk). Con una profondit\u00e0 media di soli 5 metri, questo &#8220;mare interno&#8221; genera onde corte e profonde che offrono un vero banco di prova per gli scafi.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Fly.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-8680\" title=\"Contest 52MC Fly\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Fly.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC Fly\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Fly.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Fly-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Fly-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a>Il Contest 52MC \u00e8 confortevole con la velocit\u00e0 di dislocamento, lo scafo taglia l&#8217;acqua quasi alla velocit\u00e0 critica dello scafo, rimanendo stabile e mantenendo un&#8217;eccellente direzione. A questa velocit\u00e0, il consumo di carburante \u00e8 irrisorio &#8211; circa 1 l\/nm &#8211; e permette ai passeggeri di ammirare il paesaggio circostante in totale relax. <\/p>\n<p>Quando raggiungiamo le acque aperte, iniziamo ad accelerare, il nostro yacht abbassa leggermente la poppa e sentiamo la velocit\u00e0 aumentare. Tuttavia, non \u00e8 il solito processo di planata, questo scafo \u00e8 molto particolare e letteralmente incollato all&#8217;acqua. <\/p>\n<p>Forse, questo \u00e8 reso possibile dalle linee dello scafo che, molto diverse da quelle che abbiamo visto finora, sollevano la barca senza esagerazioni, lasciandola immersa quanto basta per avere una stabilit\u00e0 di rotta superiore alla media.<\/p>\n<p>A circa  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Bow.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-8681\" title=\"Contest 52MC Prua\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Bow.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC Prua\" width=\"420\" height=\"314\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Bow.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Bow-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-Bow-768x575.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a>12-13 nodi, il Contest 52MC distanzia la sua scia, entra in planata e accelera senza aumentare l&#8217;acceleratore fino a circa 15 nodi. A questa velocit\u00e0, i due Cummins girano a 2.000 giri\/min, il consumo di carburante \u00e8 basso e il nostro yacht sembra non sentire le onde. <\/p>\n<p>Ancora una volta, questo scafo mi stupisce per il suo potenziale velico. La prua \u00e8 dotata di una sezione a V molto affilata che si estende sopra le murate per formare un triangolo scaleno, dove un lato \u00e8 rappresentato dalla prua, il secondo dai quasi tre metri sulla linea di galleggiamento mentre il terzo \u00e8 preso dalla linea tra loro. <\/p>\n<p>Sopra questo triangolo, l&#8217;opera morta si espande per accogliere i volumi interni ma sotto&#8230;.sotto, \u00e8 tutta un&#8217;altra cosa, un vero e proprio &#8220;sistema a spigolo vivo&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Tutta questa zona \u00e8 destinata a tagliare l&#8217;acqua e le onde, offrendo la minima resistenza possibile all&#8217;interno di un vero capolavoro di idrodinamica che rende la navigazione morbida e confortevole, dritta e molto precisa.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-8682\" title=\"Contest 52MC Flybridge\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-2.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC Flybridge\" width=\"267\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-2.jpg 533w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-2-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/a>Marcel mi lascia prendere il timone,  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-VIP-Cabin.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-8683\" title=\"Contest 52MC, Cabina VIP\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-VIP-Cabin.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC, Cabina VIP\" width=\"267\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-VIP-Cabin.jpg 533w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-VIP-Cabin-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 267px) 100vw, 267px\" \/><\/a>Tiro gi\u00f9 le manette e faccio navigare lo yacht a circa 23-24 nodi; poi, eseguo una virata decisa mentre il Contest 52MC restringe l&#8217;angolo di virata senza mai scomporsi. Poco dopo, trovo le (significative) onde della nostra scia e le attraverso senza rallentare e&#8230; e lo yacht non se ne accorge, alza e abbassa la prua come se avessimo attraversato un&#8217;onda di 10 cm. <\/p>\n<p>I grandi baffi di schiuma che generiamo ci riportano alla realt\u00e0 e dimostrano palesemente l&#8217;attraversamento che abbiamo appena eseguito. Si muovono verso l&#8217;esterno e ci aiutano a capire meglio l&#8217;ulteriore motivo di uno scafo come questo che, progettato in questi mari, pu\u00f2 essere destinato solo a mantenere la barca perfettamente asciutta. L&#8217;alternativa sarebbe, semplicemente, congelare.  <\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 certamente l&#8217;esperienza velica di questo grande cantiere che ha permesso di progettare uno scafo del genere che, libero dai moderni vincoli volumetrici, pu\u00f2 esprimere una straordinaria tenuta di mare.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-master-cabin.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-8684\" title=\"Contest 52MC, cabina armatoriale\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-master-cabin.jpg\" alt=\"Contest 52MC, cabina armatoriale\" width=\"420\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-master-cabin.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-master-cabin-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.boatreviewmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Contest-52MC-master-cabin-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/a>Navigare a bordo di questo yacht \u00e8 un&#8217;esperienza che consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che, nell&#8217;ansiosa ricerca di quel centimetro in pi\u00f9 di spazio interno, si ritrovano a schiantarsi contro le onde mentre la loro famiglia e i loro amici sono lontani dal godersi la navigazione, intenti solo a tenersi a qualcosa per mantenere l&#8217;equilibrio.<\/p>\n<p>Al contrario, il Contest 52MC \u00e8 uno yacht progettato per navigare, in totale sicurezza e comfort, anche nelle condizioni pi\u00f9 difficili, regalando all&#8217;equipaggio il piacere di godersi lo spettacolo di luci creato dalla schiuma delle onde che incontra i raggi del sole.<\/p>\n<p>Questo Contest \u00e8 una barca davvero coinvolgente.
