Boat Review: everything about boat testing
Welcome to BOAT REVIEW, the first digital magazine dedicated to boat test and to all boating enthusiasts who want to get to know boats in a complete and authentic way, even before physically stepping on board or owning them.
Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to provide a unique reference point where you can read about, see, and truly understand every boat in a clear, detailed, and immediate way, with the assurance of information verified directly in the field—or, more accurately, “on the water”.
Whether you are an experienced boat owner, a novice sailor, or simply a curious enthusiast who loves to daydream, BOATREVIEW.PRESS is the ideal place to experience boating up close, without filters or commercial interference.
Boat Review: sea trials, boat test video and much more
BOAT REVIEW is a magazine specializing exclusively in sea trials, presented without filters and directly from the water. Here you won’t find theoretical descriptions, generic reports, or simple adaptations of press releases provided by shipyards. On the contrary, our approach is based on real, concrete tests experienced firsthand on board.
Our reviews are available in two formats: video and editorial. Video reviews allow readers to enjoy an immersive experience and virtually step on board the boat, observing every detail and closely following every aspect of navigation, while editorial articles offer a complete and detailed analysis of sea performance, steering sensations, layout, and livability of spaces, both interior and exterior.
In this way, even those who have not yet physically set foot on board can accurately understand how a boat performs, what its strengths are, and its distinctive features.

All our sea trials are conducted and documented by a team of professional journalists and testers, working in synergy, united by extensive experience in the industry and a genuine passion for boating, to provide accurate and truly useful evaluations for those who sail or dream of doing so.
Each trial is the result of a hands-on experience on board, structured in various phases: from the departure to maneuvers in turns, from speed tests to acceleration tests, observing responses to waves and ease of handling. We never overlook the most “sensory” details of the trial—the feeling of the wind in your hair, the adrenaline rising with engine revs, the daring attempts to push each boat to its limits to fully assess the hull’s capabilities, and the reluctance to return to port.
Every turn, curve, and maneuver becomes a sensory narrative, capable of conveying not only technical performance but also the pure and immediate pleasure of sailing. In this way, the reader is guided step by step through the sailing experience, indirectly sharing the emotions and sensations of those on board, perceiving the boat not only from a technical perspective but also from an explicitly emotional one.
Whether it is a Maxi-RIB, a luxury motor yacht, a versatile open boat, a performance cruiser, a motor catamaran, or a sailing vessel, the goal is always the same: to offer a technical and sensory review that is useful for those evaluating the purchase of a new boat or simply wanting to gain a closer understanding of a specific model.
BOAT REVIEW addresses a broad and varied audience, including both experienced boat owners and industry experts, as well as those approaching the world of boating for the first time who want to make informed choices. The language is direct and clear, technically solid yet accessible to newcomers, designed to guide the reader “inside” the boat, helping them fully understand its features, behavior at sea in different weather conditions, construction material quality, finish craftsmanship, and actual intended uses, regardless of their initial level of knowledge and experience.
Boat Review: how it is made and what it contains
BOAT REVIEW features six distinct sections, designed to make browsing the site simple and intuitive, allowing users to instantly find the category of their interest: Sailing Boats, Motor boats, Sailing Catamarans, Power Catamarans, Maxi-Rib & Inflatable and Boat Supply.
Once a category is selected, users have access to a comprehensive list of sea trials, organized clearly and consistently, with content available both in video format and through complete, detailed editorial articles.

These resources are useful for comparing models within the same category and for making informed decisions when choosing the boat that best suits their needs. This way, BOAT REVIEW becomes a practical, reliable, and valuable tool, designed to guide both sailors and boating enthusiasts through an increasingly vast and complex nautical landscape.
